COVID-19 Contact Register at Central Park

From Saturday 5th December 2020, Central Park and its retailers will be required to maintain a register for the WA Health Department COVID-19 contact tracing.

We have developed some FAQ’s below to assist you in registering your details at Central Park.

Why contact registers?
In the event of COVID-19 being detected in the WA community, contact registers help to protect the community by providing information to the WA Health contact tracing team, which enables them to quickly identify and assist anyone that may have been exposed to COVID-19.

Contact tracing is one of the most effective measures in controlling the spread of COVID-19 if an outbreak occurred. Contact tracing involves identifying individuals who may have been exposed to an infectious case of COVID-19 and having these people avoid contact with others until we can be sure they are not going to develop the disease.

What areas in Central Park will I need to register my details?

  • Conference Centre which includes: Karri, Melaleuca, Acacia, Tuart and Tingle Tree rooms
  • Banksia and Grevillea business pods in the lobby
  • Central Park Fitness Centre
  • End of Trip: Ride and Park

Does this include the Central Park retailers?
Yes it does. If you are dining in at Hemingway café, Gramercy, Tokyo Station, Curry House, Mad Mex, Soul Origin and Roll’d, you must register your details. However, if you are only purchasing food and drinks to takeaway then you are not required to register your details.

Who is required to register their details?
Any person aged 16 years and over who attends any of the above including patrons, staff, volunteers and contractors, will be required to register their contact details.

How do I register my details at Central Park and its retailers?
Download the WA Government free app – SafeWA and sign up as an individual.

If you do not have a smart phone, a paper-based form will be available for you to sign in at each area required.

At the entrance of each area, there will be a sign with a QR code. Please scan this QR code using your SafeWA app. As mentioned above if you do not have a smart phone, please register your details on the paper-form at the area.
