Be Mindful in May! Research shows that mindfulness can help you manage mental health and stress while increasing your productivity and performance in the workplace.

We will be exploring the art of mindfulness through a range of activities throughout May to benefit your mind and body for clearer, more focused thinking.

In celebration of Mindful in May, we encourage you to complete 8 virtual mindful practices and 2 weekly in-person Mindful Monday events from 8 May to 31 May to go in the draw to win a staycation at Crown Perth valued at $900.

This Mindfulness Challenge includes access to potent mindful practices such as meditations, breathwork, sound healing, yin yoga, journaling and much more. These practices are designed to help you slow down and find more presence, calm and clarity amongst the busyness of life. The challenge includes virtual and in-person classes.

In-person Mindful Monday Challenges include:

  • BREATHWORK WORKSHOP - Mon 8 May 
    Learn about the mindful benefits of breathwork with Kylie Falconer, a Perth-based breathwork practitioner. At this breathwork workshop, you will be guided through different breathing techniques to slow down your mind and your nervous system. It’s time to stop taking the simple act of breathing for granted and make the most out of each breath.

  • YIN YOGA WORKSHOP - Mon 15 May
    Truly melt into your body through the practice of yin yoga. This modality of yoga allows you to slow down, relax and relieve stress built up in the deepest tissues of your body. If you feel overwhelmed with stress in your body and mind, yin yoga is the perfect practice for you.

  • SOUND HEALING WORKSHOP - Mon 22 May  
    Experience the mindful practice of sound healing with Ally Solomou, a renowned sound bath practitioner in Perth. Sound healing uses music and sonic vibrations to balance and calm your body and mind. Enjoy some camomile tea after this soulful sound healing practice.
  • JOURNAL WRITING WORKSHOP - Mon 29 May 
    Learn about the mindful act of automated writing with Sammi Johnson, a wellbeing coach and journal creator. You will be guided through the practical tips of automated writing and partake in a meditative session to help you bring awareness to your thoughts by distilling it on paper. A journal and pen will be provided at this workshop.
