Art is not just visual experiences, but embodiments of history, culture, and spirituality.
Within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, art is a form of cultural healing, connecting people to the stories of their ancestors and culture.
The Waalitj Foundation Wangening Bardip is showcasing 11 independent First Nations artists to share their healing stories through their artwork. Each piece of art tells a story deeply rooted in the First Nations Peoples’ philosophy of life and connection to the land.
We are all custodians to these works of art. They stand as a testament to the healing power of art, underscoring its significance in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
They are Healing Stories - the heartbeat of the First Nations community, pulsating with the rhythm of their rich history and culture. Stories of resilience, survival, and healing.
We invite you to join us for this showcase of a vibrant collection of artworks proudly exhibited by the Waalitj Foundation. 100% of proceeds from the sales will go directly to each individual artist.
