May is the national awareness month for cystic fibrosis.
Here at Central Park we are showing our support by getting involved with this year’s 65 Roses Day. On Friday 24 May, beautiful single stem roses and bunch of flowers will be available for purchase from our cart in the foyer near the Hemingway café.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is one of the most common life limiting diseases affecting children and adults in Australia. It causes thick, sticky mucus which affects the lungs and digestive system. Currently there is no cure but thanks to support from the community Cystic Fibrosis WA are able to provide vital support services to people living with CF in WA and fund research so that hopefully one day we have a world where lives are unaffected by CF.
