Grab your complimentary Easter cupcake on Thursday 30 March from 10am. Find us at Easter cart in the lobby (near the concierge desk) and choose from vanilla or chocolate flavoured cupcakes, along with Easter eggs for you to enjoy.

Hot Cross Buns
Central Park is giving you complimentary hot cross buns on Wednesday 5 April from 7.30am. We will be located at the Easter cart in the lobby near the concierge desk with a variety of options – Traditional, Choc-Chip and Gluten Free along with Easter eggs.

Origins of the hot cross buns
There are many theories of the origins of the hot cross buns. One of those theories dates back to the 14th century when an Anglican monk baked the buns at St Albans Abbey and called them the ‘Alban Bun’. He then distributed them to the poor on Good Friday. They soon gained popularity around England and became a symbol of the Easter weekend.

The traditional hot cross bun is a spiced, yeasted bun made with raisins or currants and is marked with a cross on top. Nowadays there are many variations including chocolate, cinnamon and even vegemite.
