Sustainability

Central Park is committed to reducing its footprint on the environment in any way it can. So we champion a range of initiatives and practices to ensure our building and our tenants businesses are contributing positively to the environment.

Energy efficient building surrounded by trees

4.5 star efficiency

Central Park is one of the most energy efficient buildings in Perth. In fact, we hold an industry accredited 4.5 star NABERS rating and are constantly improving our energy efficiency.

4 green star

Central Park holds a 4-Green Star rating. The Green Star is the only national and voluntary sustainability rating system for buildings and communities and is operated by the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). Green Star aims to transform environmental efficiencies in Australian buildings, while boosting productivity and improving the health and wellbeing of local communities.

Green Room initiative by Central park For Recycling

Green Room

Central Park is actively committed to the recycling of products with separate facilities provided for the collection of paper products, cardboard, glass, plastic and metal containers. The Green Room at Central Park is a one-stop-shop where you can properly dispose of all of your non-organic products.

Earth Hour

Central Park has actively supported Earth Hour since 2007.

We turn off the non-essential lights in the Central Park building and on top of the building at 8.30pm every year, and ask our tenants to do the same in their offices.

Earth Hour is our opportunity to protect the future of the one home we all share by ensuring the environment is at the top of the global agenda.
