Janet has been amazing during this COVID-19 pandemic while we have juggled working from home and trying to keep things at Central Park Tower running smoothly. Janet takes charge of all our daily mail and stores it until it is collected each week. Her communication is awesome, she keeps in contact to advise of deliveries and to update me if she thinks there is something I need to know about a particular delivery. She has truly made this unexpected work from home experience so much easier for us and she is an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Janet has been super reliable over the COVID-19 period. We have had important deliveries for the critical staff still left on site and she has ensured these deliveries were safely delivered where they were needed. Andrew was called to assist in the Theatrette, when the AV could not be started. There was a meeting scheduled to begin and Concierge was unable to assist further with the problem. Andrew displayed initiative, assertiveness, knowledge and helpfulness to the situation and found a solution.

A tenant from Grant Thornton tripped while walking up the internal staircase and severely injured her left knee. Andrew attended to the call to provide first aid and upon attending, was advised by the tenant that she did not want an ambulance to be called. Being one to be customer focused and always going above and beyond, Andrew personally transported her in a wheelchair to a GP close to the building by foot. The GP advised an xray was required and so Andrew took the tenant to the radiologist located at The Mount Hospital to get an x ray. He then transported the tenant back to the GP for a repeat consultation before finally bringing her back to her office where the tenant was left with a Grant Thornton HR representative. All by foot, with the tenant in a wheelchair and on a 35 degree day. Andrew went beyond the requirements of a first aid officer to make sure the tenant was well looked after. Great work Andrew! And thank you for your hard work.

Thank you for assisting our Literacy Big & Little buddies to enjoy the views and complete an learning / observation activity on Level 50. We have been involved in the Ardoch Literacy buddies program this year which involves exchanging letters with the children throughout the year to help improve literacy and provide positive role models. The children had a wonderful excursion to central park and for the majority of the children (and teachers) the highlight of the visit was level 50 and the stunning panoramic views of Perth. Thanks again, Joann for going above and beyond and for assisting our large group as we visited Level 50 with the children.

Lhachu always does a great job at keeping our office and kitchen neat and clean. I had forgotten to turn on the dish washer until much later in the day, this meant the cycle would end later than usual and possibly delay her other duties. I told her that if she didn't have time to put the dishes away to leave it and I would do it in the morning.Lhachu made it a point to put the dishes away despite not being required to and did a fantastic job with cleaning the office that night.This is just one demonstration of her going above and beyond, but i'm sure she does this consistently to mantain a spotless office. We don't get to say this enough, but thank you Lhachu!

On Friday 25 October at 9.49pm, Security Officer Ishu Arora noticed via CCTV that 3 females and 2 children had entered the Goods Lift after walking down the vehicle entry ramp from St Georges Terrace to B3. Security contacted them inside the Goods Lift and they advised they were looking for their vehicle in the public car park.Security Officer Matthew Zulu was directed to attend the area to assist the group in finding the vehicle. The group had very little understanding of English, however Matthew was eventually able to determine that they had not parked at Central Park at all. Matt personally escorted them to the Wilson Car Park in King's Square (Wellington Street) where their vehicle is parked.Thanks to the fantastic team work and quick wits of the security officers, they were able to identify and resolve the problem. The Central Park Management Team would like to acknowledge and thank the officers for always going above and beyond in their duties and for assisting the family to find their vehicle.

Barry helped us out on the roof during the building orientation on Tuesday 24th September. He pointed out landmarks, gave us some great updates about what has happened/is happening in and around the city. He was personable and engaging and it was clear he is proud of his role at Central Park.

We were notified that someone in one of our bays left their lights on. Once I was able to identify the car, Barry was able to track the movements of the car and identify the owner of the car so we could notify that their lights were on. As her battery was flat I again requested help from the Security team and one of the security team who owned jumper cables lent them to us. This allowed us to get a staff member home to her family on time.

Gregory Hall in the Control Room took a call from an elderly gentleman inside Lift 22 (Carpark/arcade), who was seeking assistance to find his vehicle. Zufan Asefa and David Tatare (a new trainee) were requested to stop their patrol to provide assistance to the gentleman. Zufan took charge of the situation and asked pertinent questions to locate his vehicle. Thanks to Zufan and the security team's efforts, they were successful in helping the gentleman find his car.

A wallet was handed to Joann on Concierge who checked for identification but could not find a phone number. The wallet was handed over to Ishu Arora to be placed in the Lost and Found. Ishu thought there may be a possibility that the wallet belonged to a WeWork tenant, as we do not have a list of their tenant names. He contacted a tenant representative from WeWork and was advised that the wallet belonged to one of their tenants. He then delivered it to Level 32 to be passed on to the owner of the wallet, Ethan Sumich.Thanks to Joann and Ishu's joint effort, the wallet was safely returned to the owner.

I asked them to clean a room after a meeting, if they had time (only the used glasses) but they went beyond and left the meeting room spotless.We had a meeting really early on the next day, Thursday (yesterday), so it was of great help. I really don't have enough words to thank them for doing so much more than expected and more than what is their obligation.

Central Park in Perth continuously have great initiatives such as reusable bags for clients use, re-usable carry trays for coffee's, lts of recycling options. Another highlight was attending the guide dog graduation in the foyer - what a touching experience. Keep the events and programs going!

I was using the End of Trip showers on a Friday evening while Parbarti was tidying it up. I appreciate that she tidied the area around me while respecting my space.As she had already cleaned the facility, she would not have been required to return, but she did anyway. I would like to commend her for returning to tidy the area I used and being so thorough with her work. She was also very considerate and informed me to be careful as the floors are a bit wet (she had just cleaned it).I believe through her actions, it is evident that Parbarti goes above and beyond in both her work and customer service. We are very fortunate to have such a great team member!

I had an incident whereby I was exiting a lift and dropped my mobile phone down the gap in the door. Thinking it was completely lost, David and the Central Park team somehow managed to locate and recover my phone, intact! This saved me a whole lot of hassle and is much appreciated.

I knew Norlina from 2009 when I became a member of CP gym. Norlina as the only female member of staff there was very helpful. She did my assessment, designed my training plan, and helped me train for a period of time. She is quite supportive and has a positive smile all the time.I had twin boys in 2014 and stopped training for a few years. I resumed gym training early this year. Norlina designed my training plan according to my condition, which worked really well. I am glad Norlina stays with CP gym although there is some change in CP gym management.

Cherubina has been absolutely fantastic to work with to help bring our art exhibition to life in the foyer of the Central Park building in the Perth CBD. She has always gone above and beyond to assist us with providing the relevant information in a timely manner - including things from her previous experience that we hadn't considered, which ensured our event was a success. The number of times we'd slightly amend or change schedules was never an issue and Cherubina ensured all stakeholders were informed in a timely manner. Anthony was politely requesting that people move off the barricaded lawn area during lunch. One individual treated Anthony very rudely, mocking him, pacing back and forth on the grass and raising his voice. Anthony remained very calm, polite and demonstrated a great deal of professionalism whilst still maintaining his position on the matter. Thanks for keeping our parks beautiful and we are sorry that some users treat the staff at Central Park so poorly.

Upon my short time at the gym, I would like to commend the services of both Norlina and Ray. They both exude such charisma and drive and I have enjoyed training at the gym. My motivation went from zilch to overboard and I loved the one/one sessions as well as the group sessions. I will miss working out at the gym but definitely was well worth it focusing on various fitness levels.

Our concierge, Robert helped to make 11 kids say Wow! Rio Tinto received a request for a group of school kids from a remote area in the Kimberley to visit our Very Tall Building. Robert helped us by leading the group on a trip up the elevator to the 49th floor. The Rio Tinto staff, school staff and kids alike all appreciated Robert's assistance, flexibility and professionalism to ensure everyone had a safe and fun visit to remember. Thanks Robert!
